For Connor, it’s all about the story.

For each project he approaches, whether as an actor, writer, or director, the elements of story, stakes, and character reign king. He enjoys putting the effort into character work, and reading scripts that jump off the page with poetry and authenticity.

When he's not acting, he puts time towards skateboarding, playing guitar, enjoying spicy food, and listening to the latest hip-hop releases.

"The Young One-Two” is about John Ramos (played by Connor McNelis), a boxer who can’t seem to get past the second round in all his fights. He finds a surprising trainer in Kelly (Selene Phillips), whose lessons in love and chess turn out to be exactly what he needs.”

“[Benjamin] Carlucci leaned on the acting chops of McNelis and Phillips to sell John and Kelly’s intense infatuation with each other in such a short amount of time."
